Project: Community Based Learning Centers

Highlights: Overall technology planning & videoconferencing.
INCOLSA is a statewide network providing leadership in cooperative activities for Indiana libraries. In conjunction with the Indiana State Library, we assisted INCOLSA with the establishment of 29 Community Based Learning Centers throughout the state within selected public libraries. Each site was designed and equipped with videoconferencing equipment as participants of this initiative. Additionally, each site utilized the state’s network backbone for connectivity to deliver high-quality videoconference capabilities for their respective communities. INCOLSA also provides workshops, seminars, and various programs through these facilities to their membership base.
