Indiana Legislative Session

I was recently afforded the opportunity to spend time at the Indiana Statehouse during the legislative session with Jason Shelley, AIA Indiana Director and Diana Brenner, Brenner Design. It was truly a great experience. One of the highlights was discussing HB 1620, energy efficient buildings, with Representative Matt Pierce from Bloomington. Rep. Pierce authored this bill that would require a government building to be designed and constructed to achieve or exceed the level of energy efficiency under required under certain rating systems.
